Hosting, Domain and Infrastructure Terms
The terms and information that apply to this part of Hoslift.
Last Updated: 1 August 2026
Scope and Delivery Model
These Terms apply when an order or Statement of Work includes domain registration, DNS management, hosting, cloud resources, deployment infrastructure, monitoring, backups or related operational support. The applicable order identifies the supplied service, responsible provider, management boundary, fees, term and any incorporated provider conditions.
Where a third party supplies the underlying service, Hoslift acts only in the role stated in the order. The third party remains responsible for obligations allocated to it under its own terms and applicable law.
Domains
Domain availability is not guaranteed until registration is confirmed by the applicable registrar or registry. The order or account record identifies the registrant, administrative access, renewal responsibility, transfer status and fees. The Client must provide accurate registrant information and promptly update it when it changes.
Registry, ICANN, country-code and registrar rules apply. Expiry may interrupt websites, email and connected services; redemption or restoration may involve additional fees and cannot always be completed. Unless the order states otherwise, the Client remains responsible for approving renewal and maintaining sufficient funds before the renewal deadline.
Hosting and Infrastructure
The order identifies the relevant resources, service region, environments, access model, backups, support coverage, monitoring, maintenance and technical limits. Capacity, bandwidth, storage, execution time and provider quotas may be enforced to protect availability and cost control.
Shared or managed services must not be used for a prohibited or materially higher-risk workload outside the accepted scope. A material change in traffic, data sensitivity, compliance need or system function must be disclosed so that architecture and safeguards can be reviewed.
Client Responsibilities
The Client maintains lawful content, current contacts, timely payment, secure credentials, supported software it controls, DNS/registrar approvals and independent copies where agreed. It promptly reports compromise and does not bypass resource/security controls.
Availability and Maintenance
No availability target applies unless an executed SLA states the measured service and exclusions. Planned/emergency maintenance, upstream failure, Client action, force majeure, attack and third-party dependency may be excluded only as transparently defined.
Backups and Recovery
Backup scope, frequency, retention, restore testing and fees are stated in the order. A backup is not a guarantee of successful recovery. The Client retains its own copy where it controls irreplaceable data unless Hoslift expressly accepts a different duty.
Security and Access
Least privilege, MFA, supported software, secrets management, logging and incident responsibilities are shared as stated. Hoslift may isolate an affected workload where necessary to protect systems.
Suspension and Termination
Affected services may be suspended for material non-payment, unlawful use, security emergency or provider/registry requirement, with proportionate notice where possible. Export/transfer, deletion, transition assistance and post-termination retention follow the order and Privacy Policy.
Third Parties and Changes
Provider terms, pricing, regions, interfaces and features may change. Hoslift will communicate a known material impact and seek approval before implementing a material change to Client scope or recurring cost where the applicable agreement requires it.
Portability and migration assistance are available only to the extent technically possible, contractually permitted and included in the order. The Client remains responsible for charges, licences, provider restrictions and decisions required to complete a transfer.
Contact
Operational requests should use the support channel identified in the order. Contract, renewal or termination questions may be sent to legal@hoslift.com.
