  5. 05Test backup and recovery
  6. 06Document routine operations and incident steps

Questions

Before we begin

Does Hoslift provide hosting?

Yes. Hosting planning, configuration, migration, and management are available within a defined project or support arrangement, with provider, ownership, access, and support responsibilities documented clearly.

What does a security review cover?

A security review examines the agreed areas of identity and access, application exposure, secrets, dependencies, data handling, deployment, monitoring, backups, and operational response.

Are backups enough for disaster recovery?

No. Recovery also requires defined targets, mapped dependencies, clear responsibilities, tested procedures, and a communication plan.

Can you review an existing cloud setup?

Yes. We assess access, environments, deployment, monitoring, backups, recovery, dependencies, cost, performance, and operational ownership.

Do you support migrations?

Yes. Migration planning covers source and target environments, data movement, testing, downtime, dependency changes, rollback, and post-migration checks.

Who responds when something goes wrong?

The support arrangement defines monitoring ownership, response expectations, escalation routes, provider responsibilities, and decision authority.
